Understanding Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood Conference
Your Role in Raising Awareness, Supporting Families, and Applying Best Practices
The Understanding Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood Conference was held in New York City, N.Y., in May of 2017. The conference was the first multidisciplinary medical conference on SUDC which featured critical research updates and best practices from the fields of epidemiology, pathology, genetics, cardiology, neurology and palliative care. Over 225 attendees joined from 35 U.S. states and five countries.
The conferences was jointly presented by NYU Post-Graduate Medical School and the SUDC Foundation and welcomed cross-discipline medical professionals, including physicians, pathologists, medical examiners, nurses, basic science researchers, public health officials, investigators, other clinicians and affected family members.
The SUDC Foundation thanks all who made this conference possible, especially our sponsors, speakers and Austen Deery for capturing the events in his documentary, Love Beyond Reason.
